The Project
Nestled in the scenic hills of Austin’s Steiner Ranch community, Meritage Townhomes offer refined, low-maintenance living with access to high-end shared amenities. To enhance the atmosphere of the community’s central gathering spaces, PlantCraft Designers was invited to design life like plant installations that reflect the property’s relaxed sophistication—while staying true to its practical, easy-living philosophy.
Our work focused on creating natural-feeling greenery moments in the Clubhouse Lounge and Kitchen, designed to be as durable and low-maintenance as the homes themselves.
Solution
Clubhouse Lounge:
This cozy yet stylish lounge acts as the social heart of the community. We introduced lifelike life like plants in curated groupings that soften the interior’s clean lines and create a more inviting, layered environment for residents and guests alike. The added greenery provides warmth without the need for watering, trimming, or seasonal rotation.
Kitchen & Gathering Spaces:
In the adjacent kitchen and communal areas, we used botanicals to bring visual interest to countertops, shelves, and transitional spaces, adding an organic element that complements both casual gatherings and hosted events.
The selections were intentionally chosen for their realism, scale, and ability to hold up beautifully over time in a high-use environment.
