The Project
Located in the heart of Los Angeles’ financial district, City National Plaza is a landmark of sophistication and corporate prestige. When CommonWealth Partners sought to soften the sleek modernism of the main lobby with natural elements, they turned to Antheia Collective to deliver a bold yet organic solution that would complement the space’s clean architectural lines.
Our answer? A curated series of six custom moss art pieces—preserved, maintenance-free, and uniquely designed to reflect the building’s stature while grounding it in biophilic design principles.
Solution
Each of the six art pieces was crafted as a standalone expression of texture and movement, yet designed to form a cohesive visual story when viewed as a series. Installed along key visual corridors within the main lobby, the moss pieces draw the eye and introduce a sense of calm and connection in what would otherwise be a stark corporate space.
These installations were fabricated using premium, preserved moss varieties in varied textures and shades, shaped into flowing compositions that evoke topography, growth, and natural rhythm—without any need for irrigation, light, or trimming.
